PMG Ngoma FAQ
Clear answers about rights, money, splits and how the PMG ecosystem works.
How much does PMG Ngoma cost?+
Joining and using PMG Ngoma is free. There are no hidden subscription or upload fees. PMG earns only when an artist earns, under the artist's signed distribution agreement.
Does PMG take ownership of my masters or publishing?+
No. PMG Ngoma claims zero ownership of an artist's master recordings or publishing merely because we distribute the music. Rights remain governed by the creator's agreements and documented splits.
How and when are royalties paid?+
PMG processes royalties monthly after the initial reporting delay from stores, which is commonly about two months. Each artist and registered collaborator can see authorized statements and payment records in their own portal.
Can collaborators, producers and investors receive direct splits?+
Yes. Track-level participation can be recorded for artists, producers, collaborators and approved investors so calculations and statements follow the documented split structure.
Where will my music be delivered?+
PMG supports delivery to major global digital services and eligible content-identification platforms. Availability remains subject to each platform's policies, territory coverage and content review.
Am I locked into PMG forever?+
No. PMG's distribution relationship is nonbinding unless a separate signed deal says otherwise. Artists may request takedowns according to their agreement, while tracks can otherwise remain distributed without recurring upload fees.
What support comes with distribution?+
PMG can support metadata preparation, cover artwork, playlist pitching, release planning, marketing operations and responsive human assistance. The exact services for a release depend on its approved campaign plan.
Does everyone who applies get to join PMG Ngoma?+
No. Every application is reviewed by PMG's A&R team. Selection considers artistic quality, audience development and credible performance indicators such as monthly listeners, streams and average YouTube views. Applicants who qualify receive an invitation and next-step contact by email.
